 Have you been feeling tired or facing health challenges?  

Maybe it’s time to give you and your lymphatic system some care.
 Join us for guided teachings with gentle practical exercises to help stimulate the lymphatic system.      


What is the lymphatic system?
Our lymphatic system is an important part of our body and helps protect us from disease and infection. Body movement and exercise can help lymph fluid move through our various systems and deep breathing can also help fluids circulate.

What you will get with this workshop:

* A combination of instruction with step-by-step practical guidance
* A certified yoga and mindfulness trainer who has also experienced issues with her own lymphatic system
* Take-away tips to help you remember how to do the exercises at home  

Themes include:
Introduction to the lymphatic system
 Learning to work with the breath
Developing awareness of our body
Soft movements of self-massage and gentle stretching
Taking moments of pause and rest

 

  For whom?
This workshop is for those with or without specific lymphatic health concerns and for anyone looking for gentle ways to move the body and work with breath. 

No prior knowledge of yoga or the lymphatic system required. 
.  Certain types of movements and breathing exercises are not suitable for everyone. Participants are encouraged to listen to their own body, discontinue any activity in the case of pain, and ask for support from the trainer if needed. 

 

 Practical
The workshop will be delivered in English with basic conversational abilities in Flemish and French.
 Please wear comfortable clothes in layers (to adjust for changing temperature), and bring a water bottle and a notebook/pen.
 If you are attending online, you may wish to be in a room that has a chair, yoga mat and blanket (these will be provided for the in-person participants at the studio).

Lorinda Brinton is a certified yoga (Ashtanga Vinyasa) and mindfulness (MBSR) trainer, with a passion for helping individuals and groups find balance in their lives. Her own personal and family experiences with breast cancer and other health challenges have taken her through the ups and downs of discovering what it truly means to take care of one’s mind, body and spirit.
