ENGLISH CLASSES
During aerial yoga, the body is supported and carried by the hammock.
The hammock allows you to challenge your body in different ways
and to improve your body tone allowing you to slump more in the asanas.
You will experience how to play differently with gravity, allowing you to experience a better
and deeper effect of the yoga postures.
Through the UPSIDE DOWN postures you create space in your body and mind so that you can
invited to come to a deep relaxation.
Your body is completely carried, free of any pressure points, allowing you to let go completely.
Surrounded by the hammock, this form of yoga brings you into deep and intense relaxation.
The benefits of hammock yoga:
* Support in the asanas allowing you to hold the pose longer
and sink deeper into the asana.
* You address additional muscle groups.
* Prevention for back pain.
* You create more space in your spine and your entire body.
* You can perform the inverted posture without any strain on shoulders
and/or neck and provide a calming effect our mind.
CLASS SERIES (lessenreeks)
When you commit to an series of Aerial Yoga classes, you enjoy a lower price per class,
personalized guidance, and steady progress in your poses.
Regular practice helps you build strength, flexibility, and confidence in the hammock.
A series also keeps you motivated, deepens your practice, and allows you to truly experience the physical and mental benefits of Aerial Yoga.
Every two months you can subscribe for a new Aerial Yoga series.
Do you prefer not to commit to a full series? You can also subscribe for individual classes.
INTRODUCTION CLASSES
New to Aerial Yoga? In an introductory class, you’ll safely and gently explore the basics — how to use the hammock and move with confidence.
It’s a fun, relaxing way to discover Aerial Yoga and the perfect first step before joining a series!
This class is offered before the start of each new series.
AERIAL YIN
Once a month you can fully unwind in Aerial YIN Yoga.This gentle, restorative class invites you to stay longer in each pose while being supported by the hammock.
You’ll experience deep stretches that release tension in the fascia and gently open the body. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, relax, and create space in both body and mind. A blissful blend of deep relaxation, stretching, and weightlessness.
Offered once a month on Saturday morning.
The classes are led by Valerie Nkale.
Valerie studied biochemistry but after working in the pharmaceutical industry for several years, her life took a different turn when she moved to Chile and discovered yoga. She took a five-year Hatha yoga course (500hr) and specialized in yoga for children, after which she guided children with autism and “special needs” and supports students with burnout. With her project “Radiant Life,” she teaches women and men to create more awareness to make different choices through their own potential, so they can develop a more enlightened life. In 2020, she published her book “Radiant Life, a spiritual transformation based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.” Her mission is to use yoga philosophy and energetic healing to bring people back to their deepest core and learn to live from their souls. Valerie teaches classes and trains teachers in Aerial Yoga.
