This is a 6 week course, Intermediate Level, Medium Intensity.

Week 1: Introduction to Athletic Mat.

This workout includes a mix of beginner and intermediate level exercises for a fun, full body mat workout

that has a strong fitness influence. It’s perfect for people who have strength but lack mobility as well.

Positions are modified to accommodate for tight hips, shoulders etc.

Pace: Slow.

Week 2: Mat Workout 1

This is a full body mat workout that has a strong fitness influence.

A more challenging workout that’s got a combination of body weight exercises mixed with Pilates mat exercises.

Pace: Slow.

Week 3: Mat Workout 2

A full body mat workout. It’s a more challenging workout that’s got a combination of body weight exercises

mixed with Pilates mat exercises. We’ll do sets of exercises.

This will help newer students learn the exercises more quickly and provide higher intensity work.

Pace: Steady.

Week 4: Mat Interval Circuit Workout 1

Pilates and traditional fitness training are perfect complements.

This fast-paced mat workout is intermediate level. There are three exercises in each round and there are six rounds.

Pace: Fast.

Week 5: Mat Workout 3

This workout includes a mix of tradition pilates exercises and some bodyweight exercises from the fitness world.

This is a real fun workout that will make you sweat.

Pace: Steady to fast.

Week 6: Mat Interval Circuit Workout 2

This Mat Circuit is a full body Pilates workout. It’s a great way to add variety and intensity to your workouts.

Using sets of exercises that complement each other allows participants to improve their skills, burn a ton of calories,

and have a blast without a ton of new exercises to do or learn.

Each of the 4 sets of exercises, and each set will be completed 3 times in the workout.

All muscle groups are worked during this circuit.
